 The Baltimore Boxing Club is located in Fells Point on South Broadway. The gym is owned and operated by Maryland Boxing Hall of Fall member Jake Smith. For the past 30 years Jake and the Baltimore Boxing Club have been the face of Boxing in the Baltimore Area. The Baltimore Boxing Club was also Baltimore's first training facility to hold regular classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Jake "the Snake" Promotions is the longest running and most successful professional/ amateur boxing promotion in Baltimore. In 2010 Jake Smith promoted the first ever MMA event in Ocean City Maryland with Cage Time MMA.

 MIKE DIETRICH TRIBUTE:
Friday Dec 7th the Baltimore Boxing "Bombs Away on Pearl Harbor Day" will feature a tribute to Mike "The American Dream" Dietrich. This event will also have a can food drive to benefit Mike's church, the Merritt Park Baptist Church on 1799 Merritt Blvd in Dundalk. The fight card will have 2 Championship bouts and legendary boxing trainer Frank Gilbert will be receiving the Mike Dietrich Award.
Starting on Nov 29th, you can bring can food to the Church or DuBurn's Arena. |
